I love capturing moments, feelings, people, and places.
Getting the light and framing just right is part of the fun.
Constantly learning and improving is part of the challenge.
I took photography classes in high school, back when you had to develop your own film and make your own prints in a dark room. While I miss that funky smell, I appreciate how having a phone in my pocket allows me to capture moments as they happen, and to know right away if I got it right. As a mom and aunt, I've also developed a knack for photographing children.
I capture life as it happens, rarely posing my subjects. I'm constantly moving to find the best perspective, where the background is cleanest, the light is most flattering, and the framing is most interesting. As an actor and performer, I love the challenge of anticipating and capturing just the right moment of movement.
